Day 3: Downhilling

Today was quite the adventure.  Everyone geared up, grabbed a downhill bike, and headed up Vail mountain.  The boys took to it like fish to water.  Me, on the other hand, felt like an accident waiting to happen.  After one run, I traded the downhill gear and bike for my cross country epic.  Ahhh, better.  I actually met up with the boys for another run and had a blast on a cool downhill trail.  Later, I hit radio flyer (the new blue run) several times.  It was nice to try the skills we learned yesterday on a trail that was becoming more familiar.  Plus, riding solo meant not eating dust, as I was the caboose all day yesterday:)  Today goes down as one of the funnest ones ever on a bike!

The boys was looking over an 8 ft. drop (Andrew didn't let them jump it, but I think they would've)

Tomorrow we are headed to Keystone.  More downhill, more riding, more fun!
